1. A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers
2. Brookland by Emily Barton

June 2010
3. Changing My Mind: Occasional Essays by Zadie Smith
(I'm cheating a little on this one because it's not my book, I actually got it from the library -- but I really loved what I read, and hope to buy it at some point and read the rest of it.)

July 2010
4. Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl

October 2010
5. The Metamorphosis and Other Stories by Franz Kafka
(I read the title story, "A Hunger Artist," "In the Penal Colony," and "The Judgment" for book group. I plan to read more, hopefully the rest of the collection, just not in the near future.)

March 2011
6. The Complete Tales of Washington Irving
(I listened to "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" on audio, from Librivox. It was SO GOOD! I'm thrilled I never considered weeding this from my collection, because I'd love to read more of his stories!)
